Metalheads Love Boobies! RockStar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival Raises $5K For Breast Cancer Prevention
Keep A Breast participated in the 6th annual ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL all summer with our Traveling Education Booth. KAB Tour Representative, Heather Sorrenty was out once again educating concert attendees with our brand new set-up for our TEB. We couldn't have done it without the help of the tour staff, all our volunteers and support from all the bands. And of course everyone who stopped by our booth to talk to us and share their story with us.
"Everyday I would set up in a new city and I got to meet a ton of new people - including Teresa from Nampa, ID. She stopped by the Traveling Education Booth during the first week of Mayhem and shared her story with us. She was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at 27 years young. She has been in remission for 3 years now! Hooray Teresa!" - Heather
One of our biggest highlights of the summer was on July 27th in Chicago IL, when we partnered with Mayhem Festival to draw the world’s attention to the prevention of breast cancer and turn Mayhem Pink!
Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival and Live Nation donated .25 cents from every ticket from the Chicago date to Keep A Breast, to support our prevention and education programs to eradicate breast cancer raising over $5,000!!
We can't thank them enough for all their support and hard work this summer. But the fight isn't over - check out our video of Mayhem bands asking for YOUR help to keep our Traveling Education Booth out on the road.
Thank you to Five Finger Death Punch, Thrown Into Exile, Job For A Cowboy, City And The Sea, Children Of Bodom, Butcher Babies, Motionless In White and Amon Amarth.
For every $2 spent on KAB’s Traveling Education Booth program, Keep A Breast has the opportunity to educate ten more people with life saving information. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to potentially reach a half a million more young people!
