Phi Psi SDSU x Keep A Breast Week

70888489_102950847777034_3312995252234616832_n.png

The Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity is proud to announce we will be hosting one of the biggest philanthropy events in San Diego State University history. This event, which will be held during the week of October 7th-11th, will mark our first annual partnership with the Keep A Breast Foundation. During this week, we will be holding a massive campus-wide fundraiser with the goal of raising awareness for breast cancer prevention and education. On top of that, we are aiming to raise over $25,000 for the Keep A Breast Foundation, breaking our school fundraising record.

Phi Kappa Psi has numerous members with close ties to breast cancer, so we felt this would be an empowering philanthropy event for our house. We believe this event will have a substantial impact on the female community at SDSU, by discussing breast cancer prevention and education at our tabling events. Throughout the week we will have tables set up in the middle of campus, discussing breast cancer with fellow students, selling Keep A Breast Wristbands, and collecting donations.

We understand that greek life around the nation doesn’t have the most pristine reputation, so we want to challenge that perspective and show our fraternity can make a positive impact in the SDSU and San Diego community. Our goal for this event is to shatter the current school record, raising over $25,000 for the Keep A Breast Foundation. We hope that this event will inspire other fraternities and sororities to strive for the school record as well, showing greek life has the power to create change.

The week of October 7th-11th will stand out in SDSU history, and we invite you to be apart of it. To help contribute to this event, the “Learn More” link attached to the top of our page will direct you to our main donations website. Any amount is accepted, greatly appreciated and also tax-deductible. Both the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity and the Keep A Breast Foundation want to thank you for all contributions received for this unique philanthropy event!"
