We see Keep A Breast as one, big, always-growing family. Our volunteers are the literal glue that keeps everything together and the fuel that keeps us going. We are always looking for new family members to help us achieve our mission of empowering young people around the world with breast health education and support in new, exciting and engaging ways.

What KAB means to me is an accepting and empowering community. I love KAB because not only are they raising awareness for an amazing cause, but when you do anything with them, you feel part of a family.
— Taylor Vuoung
To me, volunteering for KAB means being a part of something bigger than myself and knowing that my time and energy are going to a positive movement and to educating our community.

Not All Volunteering is IRL!

We are always in need of volunteers at events up and down the west coast, as well as in the virtual space! Stay up-to-date with opportunities in our Volunteers Facebook Group, where we regularly share and discuss events and campaigns that you can participate in.

If you have a specific KAB cause you’re looking to volunteer for, we have lots of events and needs for both our Check Yourself and Non Toxic Revolution programs!

Volunteering for KAB really opened up my eyes and heart to what people go through with cancer, both the people that are living through it and the people supporting them. By volunteering, I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, I’ve had some amazing experiences, made some lifelong friends, heard some incredible stories, and learned how to make myself a better, healthier me. Volunteering with KAB truly changed my life.
