The Keep A Breast High Desert Collection is a community-wide art exhibition celebrating the creativity, generosity, and spirit of the people who call the High Desert home.
Created through collaborations between local artists and community members, each sculptural cast is transformed into a one-of-a-kind work of art. Together, these pieces tell stories of identity, resilience, healing, and connection while creating meaningful conversations around breast health and early detection.

HOME SWEET HOME
When Keep A Breast relocated its global headquarters to Yucca Valley in 2019, we made a commitment to become part of the community, not simply work within it.
Since then, we've partnered with local artists, small businesses, healthcare organizations, schools, and community leaders to make breast health education more visible, accessible, and personal throughout the Morongo Basin.
The High Desert Collection grew from those relationships and continues to celebrate the people whose creativity and generosity make this place unlike anywhere else.
The 2026 Collection
This year's exhibition features chest casts of 18 members of the High Desert community, each paired with a local artist who transforms their cast into an original work of art.
The collection opens September 18–20, 2026, at the Likker Barn in Pioneertown. Following the exhibition, the artwork will be displayed throughout October in local businesses along Highway 62 during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, extending the experience beyond the gallery and into the heart of the community.
Together, the collection honors the artists, participants, and local businesses who have come together to make this project possible.
Documenting the Process
Behind every finished artwork is a deeply personal experience.
High Desert photographer Sandra Goodin has documented the journey from casting session to completed artwork, capturing the vulnerability, trust, joy, and collaboration that make this project so unique.
Her photographs will be exhibited alongside the collection, offering visitors a rare look behind the scenes and revealing the human stories behind every piece.
Since 2019
Since opening our High Desert headquarters in Yucca Valley, Keep A Breast has built lasting relationships with local artists, small businesses, healthcare providers, schools, nonprofits, and community organizations.
From health fairs and educational programs to art exhibitions and local fundraisers, our goal has remained the same: to make breast health education more visible, accessible, and community-driven.
The High Desert Collection is one expression of that commitment, using art to spark conversation, celebrate community, and remind us that prevention starts with connection.
