Keep A Breast Foundation Raises Awareness about Breast Cancer in the Girlz Garage During Vans Warped Tour 2005
— Breast cast signed by top bands and personalized Vans slip-on shoes will be auctioned —

June 20, 2005, San Diego, CA—The Keep A Breast Foundation, a unique nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer among today’s youth, has announced it will be joining the Girlz Garage on the 2005 VANS WARPED TOUR.®

During the tour, Keep A Breast will be distributing “Breast Cancer Awareness Punker Packs” with shower cards, pins, patches and tips on prevention. The organization will also be showcasing a one-of-a-kind plaster cast of the female torso signed by bands including My Chemical Romance, The Offspring, Avenged Sevenfold, Dropkick Murphys and more.

“We are unbelievably excited to join Girlz Garage, and share their commitment to raising awareness for girls that rock and those that are about to!" said Shaney Jo Darden, founder of Keep A Breast. “This is an opportunity for us to reach out to thousands of teens and educate them about breast cancer in an alternative way they will respond to and remember.”

Promising to be bigger and better than ever this year, Girlz Garage on the 2005 Vans Warped Tour will include return favorites the Shoe Gallery and an auction of personalized Vans individually designed by Warped bands.
