Keep A Breast Community Outreach | Programs | Europe

Keep A Breast Community Outreach is a grassroots fundraising program for Keep A Breast. This outlet offers supporters a chance to organize and create their very own breast cast exhibition from start to finish with the help of a Keep A Breast casting expert, or person who was trained by an official KAB cast creator. An authentic KAB exhibition is unlike any other harnessing the power of art to communicate complex feelings and thoughts about health, the female form and ultimately about breast cancer. Combining sculpture, philanthropy and symbolic artistry, the one-of-a-kind plaster forms of the female torso are customized by artists and auctioned to raise funds. With all of our breast casts 100% of the proceeds benefit Keep A Breast. If a local breast cancer organization is chosen to benefit, Keep A Breast will distribute 15% of the proceeds to the organization.

Through the Keep A Breast Community Outreach Program, Keep A Breast strives to eradicate breast cancer by inspiring communities to adopt lifestyle choices that have long-term health benefits. The program is specifically centered to help spread breast cancer awareness in local communities by partnering with a group of people (for example a team, club or group like the Derby Dolls) in the area to create their very own breast cast exhibition from start to finish.

An authentic KAB Art Event will be supported by KAB volunteers and employees. Suggestions on Castees, Artists, PR, Location, etc… will all be discussed to ensure that KAB’s caliber of event is maintained. KAB is known across the globe for their Community Outreach and events.

Some of today’s most progressive artists, athletes and celebrities have participated in Keep A Breast events, including Shepard Fairey, Dita Von Tesse, pro surfers Lisa Anderson and Layne Beachley, musicians Tom Delonge of Angels and Airwaves, Katy Perry, Pink, Maya Ford of the Donnas, The Foo Fighters and many more.

Keep A Breast Community Outreach is a way for groups to partner with KAB and bring awareness to their community. Interested groups must fill out an application with their personal information and submit to Shaney jo by deadline.

Program Target Market

KAB targets groups of people such as teams, clubs or associations. We have seen great success with Brookdale Senior Living and the Derby Dolls raising over $100,000 for the Keep A Breast Foundation in 2009.
