Hello to everyone out there in blog land! We’re here on the road checking in from the Keep A Breast Tour and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how everything is turning out. Each show seems to be more special than the next, and thanks to Tillys, House Of Blues, Fences, Jarrod Gorbel (and Dre!), and of course, Uh Huh Her for being a part of this very special tour for Keep A Breast. We have a great group of people and couldn’t be happier! Everyone at the shows has been showing our Traveling Education Booth such respect and sincere interest, so thank you to everyone who has come out to the shows thus far as well!

Although this is a music tour, I think the one truly unique aspect of this whole experience has been having a breast cancer survivor come out to each show and tell their stories to all the concert-goers. So far, every single survivor ambassador has not only been friendly, fun, and an amazing speaker – but inspiring most of all. All these incredible women (of different ages) come to these shows, get up on stage and pour their hearts out to the crowd. The most amazing part is…not one of them has cursed their cancer! Every survivor has talked about how cancer has done nothing but made them value their lives full of friends, family, and more importantly, love. That takes incredible strength, and we admire them for it.

I sincerely believe that all these women’s positive outlooks on their cancer, and their lives has brought them to where they are today – happy, healthy, and full of love! We complain about silly things on a day to day basis, and trust me, being on a tour makes you pick out the most silly things to be stressed about. But each night we meet a new breast cancer survivor and it puts things into perspective. Don’t sweat the small stuff and enjoy every moment- live. laugh. love.
