Roxy and Quiksilver Australia support Keep A Breast!
November 29th, 2010 by Keep A Breast
Hello from Cathy your Keep A Breast Ambassador here in Australia!

In 2010 there was a huge amount of engagement from the Roxy and Quiksilver Team for the Keep a Breast Foundation. We donated $10K to the National breast Cancer Foundation [Australia] and it felt great! Team members from Head Office in Australia and the field Roxy Team donated their Boobies for Breast Cancer, Nola Wilson was the pavement warrior at the Roxy Pro ensuring no one got past the KAB tent without buying a raffle ticket to win a Julian Wilson Board, a KAB Roxy T and Bag program was run in the month of October across Australia. The riders had I Love Boobies T shirts, and the hugely successful Julian Wilson Pink Boardies and Dane Reynolds support flying the pink flag and competing in the KAB Breast Cancer Boardies.
Too top it off Jeff Rowley formally of Quiksilver left to complete his MBA studies and has since started his own business and has decided to be a person who makes a difference. Jeff is on a mission to raise money for Breast Cancer with his Charge for Charity Campaign. He will be heading over to Hawaii in January to ride a 20ftwave for Charity with all the funds raised being donated to the Keep a Breast Foundation with the Quiksilver Foundation full supporting the quest.
Quiksilver’s own Jillian Shannon is customizing Jeff’s board and there is talk of the boards art being inspired by Mother Nature to protect Jeff as he charges his Wave. It’s very inspirational to see a young man wanting to play his part in finding a cure for Breast Cancer. You can make donations to Jeff’s cause at jeffrowley.com and click on the first giving section to make a difference.
