“All of us at Susan G. Komen for the Cure, San Diego, are inspired by Amanda’s story,” said Laura Farmer, executive director of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, San Diego.
Being Diagnosed with Breast Cancer at age 27 was a challenge but being able to draw on my personal experience, I am now able to have a huge impact. My goal is to increase breast cancer awareness among young people and also encourage them to develop healthy habits that will benefit their long-term health and well-being. Working for Keep A Breast lets me interface with thousands of people and make a dramatic difference.
