For the month of October, Keep A Breast was so lucky to work with our friends at Signal Snowboards on creating a rad new way of spreading awareness about breast cancer prevention. The team over at Signal invited us to be a part of their Every Third Thursday web series in which they create a snowboard completely unique to who they are working with and then see if its rideable. Created exclusively for Keep A Breast with design help from lead graphic designer Meg Smith and model/swimsuit designer Susan Holmes McKagen, Signal was able to create a Bra Board. All the ladies involved have a personal connection to breast cancer and we were so honored to be able to listen to their stories and create the Bra Board. The board - tested out by Signal snowboarders Melissa Riitano, Katie Williams, and Jamie Madrid at California’s Mountain High resort - was able to create new conversations about boobs, breast health, and even women empowerment.
