Street People – Julie Cox

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

Our very own KAB Ambassador was mentioned in this week’s Union Tribune. Thanks for giving us a shout out Jules!

It’s one thing to have your hobby, your job, and your lifestyle all complement each other like neighboring hues on a color wheel. It’s another thing to do it on water and on land like pro surfer Julie Cox. She’s ripped her way through surf contests. She’s got a full-time job at the California Surf Museum. Then there’s her custom-made surfboard line, The Jule Collection, for cruising along waves like a gliding gem. For everyone who’s ever thought you can’t make a living doing what you love, read on.

KAB Team Rider Updates – Julie Cox

Thursday, February 12th, 2009

Surf Team rider and Keep A Breast Ambassador Julie Cox, has been so busy lately we can barely keep track of her. Julie’s surfboard company The Jule Collection just had a demo day in Oceanside and is opening a new store in San Clemente. If you are interested in her surfboards she will be doing another demo day in April. Julie and Keep A Breast are also planning a surf for awareness day, men and women of all surf abilities will be invited. If you have never surfed and want to learn or if you are interested in some coaching The Surf for Awareness Event will be your chance to have fun and raise money for a good cause. Currently Julie is working at the California Surf Museum located in Oceanside, California. The museum is expanding to a new location but don’t worry they are not going far the new location will be at 312 pier view way Oceanside, California.
