Starting at 7pm pst tonight you can bid on a one of a kind plaster cast seen on Episode 3 of ABC’s The Bachelor with Jason Mesnick airing 1/19/09. These casts were made for Jason’s group date in Episode 3.  100% of the proceeds raised go to the Keep A Breast Foundation’s breast cancer education, awareness and prevention programs.

A lusty group date is all for a good cause, as Jason and eight of the bachelorettes raise money for breast cancer research for the “Keep-A-Breast” Foundation. Each woman makes her own “bust cast” to be auctioned for charity and finishes with a flourish, painting on their own personal touches on their casts. At the cocktail party afterwards, things get serious as one bachelorette shares with Jason that she had breast reduction surgery, another shows him pictures of her child, and another becomes visibly upset about the competition. The Humane Charity Seal of Approval has just been given to Keep A Breast!!! We can’t be more excited!! The Humane Charity seal is the easiest way for donors to spot charities that are committed to providing vital services and care to patients or advancing research without the use of animals.

People who donate to charities want to know where their money is going. For many, a key concern is whether their donations might fund animal experiments. In fact, over 65 percent of adults recently surveyed said they would be more likely to donate to a health charity that had a policy of never funding animal experiments. Over 80 percent of those under 35 agreed.

With a rapidly expanding and diversifying list of approved charities, the Humane Charity Seal of Approval is leading the way into a new era of humane giving. Check out all the other foundations that have been given the deal.
